In an effort to do our part during the COVID-19 pandemic, ​The Hardwood Floor Company is adhering to the CDC & State mandates. The health of our employees, their families, the community, and you, our valued clients is our​ top priority.

Our employees are not working if they, someone in their household, or someone they’ve been in contact with, have become sick or are starting to experience COVID related symptoms. A completed Oregon Home Builders Association (OHBA)​ COVID-19 Pre-screening form is required by all HFC employees at the start of each work day.

SHOWROOM:

Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

  • Showroom shopping will be limited to no more than 6 customers at a time (This is subject to change depending on government mandated household occupancy limit)
  • Maintaining a minimum 6ft distance between our staff & customers
  • A HFC employee will take out & put away all sample boards to ensure sanitization after each customer interaction
  • We require a completed COVID-19 Pre-Screening Form from each visitor
  • We require use of hand sanitizer or hand washing by each visitor upon arrival
  • Curbside pick-up of samples is available upon request

In addition to cleaning practices already in place, the office staff is practicing regular hand washing throughout the day & cleaning between each client by disinfecting:

  • Sample boards
  • Door handles
  • Tables & chairs
  • Restroom, as needed
Our opening & closing cleaning procedures ​include the above​ mentioned measures as well as disinfecting our light switches, water cooler & workstations.

FIELD STAFF:

Monday-Thursday 7:00 am —5:00 pm

For the safety of our employees & their family, if your household or anyone you have been in contact with has been sick or has experienced symptoms, it would be best to reschedule your project. Please contact the office to discuss this immediately. Our crews do a stellar job in maintaining a clean & safe workplace as a general rule of thumb. In addition to that they will be adding the following safety precautions:

  • Wearing a CDC compliant mask to, from, and on the job-site
  • Maintaining a minimum 6ft distance between our staff & customers
  • Limiting face to face interactions. Remain in designated work areas & disinfect any surfaces touched
  • Wash hands upon arrival. Disinfectant wipes are being used if there is no running water on-site
  • Requiring a complete OHBA COVID-19 Pre-Screening Checklist from each customer
  • If our on-site crew determines it is best to discontinue work on the job site due to health concerns, we will contact you to discuss rescheduling your project
